Chances are, you work at a company with a shared network drive. You probably didn't setup the file structure...It probably made sense to someone with folder names that may or may not be intuitive. If you are clicking deep into network locations, you are wasting precious time and brain power. Try one of these 3 tricks to make your life easier:
Use "Favorites" in the file explorer.
1. Navigate to the network path
2. Right click on Quick access
3. Choose Pin current folder to Quick access

Create a folder with several shortcuts
1. To quickly create a shortcut, right click on the file or folder, hold and drag to the new folder (or Outlook email).

2. Release and choose Create shortcut here.

3. Repeat to make a folder filled with shortcuts organized in a way that makes sense to you.
Create a file directory using Excel
1. Open a new Excel file
2. Create a Table with 4 columns (See how here)
3. In the image below, you can see the descriptions of the columns in row 4 and the result in row 5

This is my favorite method as it permits sorting and is easily updated. I use this file every day.
